As the reality of what’s ahead this week began to override the glow of a job well done earlier in the day when his contributions played a critical role in Florida’s 45-15 thrashing of Florida State in Tallahassee, David Nelson took a moment to wax nostalgic. He was alone at home, fiddling around on the Internet when he felt the urge to open up the box he keeps on the dresser in his bedroom.
